Your Take On Finishing Colors And Neck

Hi there been around the forum for awhile now and this place has been great. Couldn't have done built my guitars without you guys.

It's been great building these while in college and finished fully my first one a dreadnought and working on these two electric guitars and a lyraharp guitar, but was lookin for some thougts about the electric guitars.

So i wanted some takes on how i should stain these guitars basically just the maple tops will be stained with color and maybe the back but maybe not. I have alcohol based analine dyes in tabacco amber yellow and med brown. So anything with those colors would be fine.

also with the necks have pearl inlay and so should i apply sealer or laquer to them to protect them. the necks are purpleheart and cocobolo i think.

Have you tried searching the forums for dyes, stains, finishing etc?
