westhemann Posted January 18, 2007 Report Share Posted January 18, 2007 looks too small...i think there would be alot of risk of running your hands into the wrong thing while using the spindle. spindle sanders are $100 in a much larger size(ryobi from home depot) and they work fine... a combination belt/spindle sander is about $200 for that same size(i have a craftsman) i use both of them side by side and they work very well...for roughly the same price of that monstrosity you have there...
