YDoesGodMockMeSo
I just finished making one in acad, kinda rough...should be near perfect (used .000(0) as much as I could based on math and information given) Only problems are the AANJ heel on the neck, dunno the specs on that...and prolly couldn't make it if i wanted to...so the bolt part is gonna look kinda wierd. And I don't know how to do the back 'radiuss', I dunno what it is, so its square in the back... I'll upload it for those that want it, tomorrow, unless I'm asleep all day, which i just might be...its 5:40am my time.

YDoesGodMockMeSo
pagemaster; thats a 7string. mines 6. alex: yeah..mines not 3d
Guest AlexVDL
That's not a 7 string And yes mine is 3D, what's the problem with the 2D drawing then? It's just basically the fretboard adding a headstock. Or are you drawing it from the side?
YDoesGodMockMeSo
you're right. I was thinking the Jem7 was..7string. Yeah, i'm just saying..mines not as cool..cuz its just 2D not all 3D and rendered ..i couldn't even guess on how to do that. http://home.rgv.rr.com/kingv1474/WizardNeck.dxf

YDoesGodMockMeSo
kwel w/ the inlays. I, personally, not a fan of the vine style. Hence just the dots (+ it'd be simple for me, being it'd be my 1st time w/ inlays. Of course...they'd be more centered
YDoesGodMockMeSo
Why does that Jem7 pocket seem different? it says 72mm across? Shouldn't it be 56? And it says 52mm from center screw hole to center screwhole, shouldn't it be more like 34-35?
Guest AlexVDL
72 could be correct, mine is 70 though. The 52 is correct too. Here's a close-up of my AANJ, I compared a scan of Tonebuckets jem7BSB neck and my JPM neck, and it was the same. So this is my conclusion:
mullmuzzler
Alex, this last drawing is great. I can't wait to use it for my template. Thanx, man! mullmuzzler | OSMT
YDoesGodMockMeSo
is the jem neck just wider than the other necks or what? My measurements = your's...mainly because its your template
YDoesGodMockMeSo
oh quick question; i can use that joint on every guitar I build right? I just like the look better than a standard square. hmm.. I dunno. I guess it wouldn't work right in a V, huh? I guess only on guitars that come to curves like the RG...?
