krazyderek Posted October 26, 2003 Report Share Posted October 26, 2003 i think someone asked this same question a week or 2 ago, but i think they were going to stain.... anyhoo, the answer is no, you could argue that painting will dampen some of the sound, and you won't feel as much vibrations in your hand vs a neck with a natural oil finish, but you should be fine, just don't go crazy with coats or you'll change the profile (thickness) of the neck Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
