Guitarislife
I was wondering how you would go abouts doing that paintjob? Is it a swirl? Thanks in advance!
Batfink
Hamer did a finish almost exactly like that in the late 80's / early 90's. The finish was airbrushed - each one was different - and was not a swirl as such. Jem
guitart
You could use a spung, tooth brush, and a feather. Use these to create a base texture then glaze over it with a transparent color and repeat the texturing to add depth. Glaze over it with different colors to create transitions in the granit. Use the feather to make viens.

There was the same finished Steinberger on Ebay but in black for $5,000. Do you know how much a finish like that would run for if I got somebody capable to do it? I am not much of an airbrush artist. Maiden69
http://www.otheroom.com/namm01/Guitars.htm the second one, marble finish base. i have seen a catalyzed kit to make a finish like this one, but I don't recall were. But to attain that quality finish it's impressive.
