Mr. Preston Swift Posted August 26, 2007 Report Posted August 26, 2007 I was recently looking at Parker Acoustic guitars and i saw that one of them had an all white fretboard and bridge made of ivoroid. http://parkerguitars.com/code/models/model...cp10e_intro.asp It looks really cool, but is it a suitable choice for a fingerboard? Also where could someone obtain a piece of ivoroid big enough to be a fingerboard or a bridge? Quote

Mr. Preston Swift Posted August 26, 2007 Author Report Posted August 26, 2007 Yeah, but is ivoroid actually white white and not sort of cream colored? Is there a wood that's almost completely white out there that could be used as a fingerboard wood? Quote
low end fuzz Posted August 26, 2007 Report Posted August 26, 2007 holly; but to find a piece w/o knots and defects is difficult; for the lenght of a fb Quote
