frankenstrat Posted November 7, 2003 Report Share Posted November 7, 2003 what i am looking for is a replacement neck for my MIM strat. i snapped the truss rod in the original, and have since replaced it with a japanese made neck, but i am not completely happy with the neck, because the frets are too small...i suppose a refret is possible...but i have never done that before...maybe a project for a later day. anyways, what i am looking for in a neck is the most bang for my buck...i don't want to spend alot of money on this guitar. thanks <<<<<that's what i really look like Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jbkim Posted November 8, 2003 Report Share Posted November 8, 2003 What's your budget? I can vouch for Carvin neck, $120 plus s+h for the bolt-on. I've found great deals on eBay. My most recent being a kramer body and neck for $55 including shipping. I expected it to be semi-crappy but was very pleasently surprised at how nice it was.
