Kramers Rule
I am building a super-strat... I have all the wood work done, now I am in the process of picking what electronics that are going to go into my build. Have any of you had any experiance with the ToneStyler tone knob. Supposedly it will give you 16 different tones out of it. Here is their web site: http://www.stellartone.com Let me know if you used it and if was worth the $99. Thanks! pauseflash
I have used it on two guitars. A Hagstrom Les Paul style (my own) and a friends american strat. Per both of us, it's not a horrible product, but would I buy it and put it on every guitar I own? Nope, can't say it's completly worth the 99 dollars. Considering what else you could buy/build with that same money.
fookgub
Never heard of this before now, but I went and checked their website. It's just a 16 position switch that selects a different cap for each position. So it's like having 16 different RC filters that you can apply to your signal. Not a bad idea if you ask me, but certainly not revolutionary or worth $99. You could build one yourself for about $15.
