Interesting Idea

I saw this guitar in a local ad for Radio Shack. After reading the reviews I doubt I would ever purchase one but the idea of having a built in recorder which use's SD cards for playback from your guitar is pretty unique...

thats a really cool idea seems pointless on a beginer guitar though i would love it though for the off the top of your head riffs you play different when you record them later there always better the first time lol (or so you beleive if only they had this in higher end guitars)

As cheap as it's likely to be, it could be picked up and scavenged for parts. It shouldn't be too hard to study the wiring & electronics of it and incorporate the recording device into a GOOD guitar.
