Pick Up Orientation Ssl-5l Right Handed

I recently picked up a setmour duncan ssl-5L for a great price. I would like to maount it to a right handed guitar. The poles are not unifoorm and cut at different heights. The white wire comes off one end and the black off the other not out of the center as most.

For a right handed guitar which position is best? cut poles (shorter poles) to high e string or low e string?

Really just opinions for tones for the orientation.
