killemall8
drill the post holes or screw holes for your bridge. what kind of bridge are you useing. if its a tom bridge, the drill a 1/8" hole from the post hole into the pickup cavity. j. pierce
I just find the easiest place to drill into the bottom of the post holes - whatever the straightest line is. I usually drill into the tailpiece holes because they're larger than those for the bridges I use. An 1/8" bit works best for me to feed the wire through. On my builds, usually it's easiest to drill from the control cavity - often times lining things up by going through the jack hole. (Which is why I use such a long drill bit.) Killemall's suggestion is also a good one (going through the pickup route) although I find that difficult to line up on some builds. Then just strip the end of the wire, and feed it through - when the bridge or tailpiece bushings get pressed in, they hold the wire in place, and also make contact, grounding everything.
