Should I be concerned about the wormhole comment in a description on e-bay for a black limba board that I would use for a neck? You can't tell anything from the picture.

"Nice piece of wood with great figure, color and grain. Kiln dried, surfaced, flat, and solid Has a waxy feel to it. Has a few wormholes. Finishes well. Good for furniture, boxes, calls, musical instruments, turnings, bowls, guitars. Quartersawn"

You can do it a number of ways... sawdust and glue; tinted epoxy; take a sliver of similar colored wood, sharpen it in a pencil sharpener, put some glue on the tip and push it into the hole.

For a body blank, I wouldn't worry about the holes too much. For a neck, I'd get a nice, worm free piece.

It is pretty easy to find good quartersawn Black Limba for a neck, and the cost with holes is the same as without. I am just very picky about neck wood.
