bluespresence
I ran across this in the latest issue of Popular Mechanics: http://popularmechanics.mondosearch.com/cg...ord=bose+BOSES+ http://www.bose.com/controller?event=VIEW_...cians/index.jsp Stuff like this just amazes me. On one hand it's simply amazing and on the other it makes me wonder why it took so long for somebody to figure this out. I wonder when the tecnology will hit a price point where we can all afford it? Snork
they've actually been out for some time. just extremely expensive. i say in about 10 years this kind of thing will be history. i think that we will have such an incredible leap in technology that the type of speaker wont even matter. everything will probably be buffered through a computerized pre amp. for live shows and there will never be a room with bad acoustics again. My prediction is ythat there will be some sort of acoustic "radar" and then the pre amp will be able to conform to any room
Reaper
I've seen that... pretty nuts if you ask me. But I get the feeling that there will always be those audiophiles for whom only "pure sound" will do.
