shoot2thrill
Hey, my name is Tyler and i live in North Carolina. Believe it or not im 15 years old and am starting a guitar project. This will be my first so im not actually building it, but im having a guy make me the body and im going to find a neck. As for the electronics and everything i plan on inserting everything myself. I know my project is pretty childish as compared to the amazing stuff that you guys are doing...but i hope to get there some day. As far as guitar goes ive been playing for around 4 years. I have a Fender Strat, Peavey Classic 30, and a variety of pedals. Ive been loking for a second guitar...but im really picky. So i got an epiphany, why not build one up myself. I hope to learn a lot and keep you guys posted on my project. The guitar im building by the way...is a Kramer Proaxe. Here are some specs: Mahogany Body HS configuration (Dimarzio PAF, havent decided on a single coil yet) Maple neck White body with black hardware (Volume tone controls, OFR, etc...) There is a ton more that i will post later... Quote Link to comment

Daniel Sorbera
Good luck! I was 14 when I got on here and built my first guitar. It was a horrible guitar, but a great learning experience and 5 years later I'm doing it full time and making a living out of it. Quote Link to comment
