Iron On Veneer

Hey can I use iron on veneer for pin striping neck lams?

I would guess the iron on stick wouldnt be strong enough so would have to supplemented with glue? Do I need to remove the iron on sticky bit?

Other than the possibility of different "iron on" veneers using differing glues, I would as a rule say "no". The glue is likely not suitable for mechanical stresses beyond holding a piece of veneer to a surface. I would avoid it and find veneer without iron-on glue so you're working with guarantees than mere possibilities :-D
