Kirk
Got a neck on the way and for some reason the previous owner felt it was necessary to put a water slide decal on the headstock - it would have been fine, but the brand name doesn't match the neck - by any stretch of the imagination. So, without completely refinishing the headstock, is there any way to remove a water slide decal?
Brian
Wet/Dry 800 and buff it after the decals gone if it's just on top of the finish.

Guest AlexVDL
Is the waterslide decal hidden under a clearcoat? If not you could just use your nails and a bit spit If it is then do what brian said
Brian
A cup of water and a single drop of dish washing detergent never hurt but you can do it dry. When it comes to the polishing, you just need a fine or superfine polish for it (preferably one for removing scratch's in paint, think auto parts store).
