hey

will the schaller floyd rose tremelo templates i've seen work for the floyd rose origional? (it only says made in germany on the bottom)

any help? thanks

AFAIK, they should work fine, the only consideration is you might have to check where you drill your stud holes, from model to model, the bridge placement varies a little back and forth.

As long as you understand basic bridge placement for proper saddle movement and intonation, they should work fine.

The Schaller floyd's have shorter string locks so if you plan to recess it the OFR string locks won't fit in the recess. You can obviously overcome this by moving the template but check, if you are going to recess it, that the string locks fit the recess before you paint it.
