Tru-oil Over Spray Paint

I would like to do the following on a mahogany body.

Sand to 220

Grain fill

Sand 220

Primer rattle can

Yellow opaque rattle can

Tru-oil 10+ coats

Thoughts? Suggestions??

Thanks! I am reading a couple books right now.

I did my last build with a behlens red stain and used

Tru-oil for the clear coats. Came out really nice.

I wanted to do the same, but paint the mahogany body with re-ranch cream.

Do u think the Tru-oil would be a problem on top of it??
