Grindell
Has anyone ever noticed that Leon Redbone looks just like Frank Zappa, but with a big moustache, dark glasses and a Panama hat? And, you never saw them together at the same time?
soapbarstrat
"i assumed north korea because of the government owned company thing...i didn't think s. korea did that sort of thing.this is the wrong section for this sort of thing but i did once read an article backing up the slave labor thing... " I must have been subconsciously thinking the same thing, but as the one guy mentioned, I wasn't thinking real hard about it, before I wrote something. It's so damn hard to resist buying things made overseas, because it's so much cheaper than the same thing would be made in the US. Damage is already done, though. We're already used to being able to get the good quality guitar made overseas for $300.00. If it wasn't happening, and we could only get a guitar like that made in the US for $1200.00, we would just accept it, and save up for it, or hang out on projectguitar.com even MORE, because it would make even more sense to build your own. But I'm a fixer-upper kind of guy so it's not a big issue to me.
