Our Souls inc.
Last year i built an experimental bass to test out a new neck joint and a theory of mine. A year later and it's still holding up so I thought i'd post up some pics. It's a Carvin swamp ash body with a trussless ebony neck. I painted it black and pore filled over that with a burnt orange. Looks evil and halloweenish. To me.... anyway- here's some pics. I have yet to get a battery door or the string ferrules....... The bridge works as a top-loader too so...... Maybe I'll get to that one day. lawl.
Our Souls inc.
and there she is. I'd like to upgrade the pups and electronics in the future, but bass is only a part time hobby. Feel free to ask questions or criticize.
Muzz
It looks great, the grain in the ash especially.
Our Souls inc.
It was a pain in the ash to get it right, lol. Thanks mate. I wish it looked as good as it sounds, but thats o.k. For an experiment, she's good enough for me.
