did291 Posted January 17, 2004 Report Share Posted January 17, 2004 I am building a extended set neck with a mahagony body and a maple cap . Now , i wont tell how it append, but i got some epoxy glue on top of the mahogany, maybe 1/3 of the wood got contaminated.i try to clean it and did a good job but i am not certain if any glue will hold the maple cap correctly.i am using hot hide glue. I tinking of sanding the mahogany ???? to get ride of the epoxy.i juste don't know Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
