Jude
I was planning to do a Joe Wilson mod to my Tele using the Oak Grigsby super switch. One of the settings is the bridge pickup in series with the tapped (traditional) bridge pickup. I was thinking that I might prefer to have the hot lead in parallel with the neck as one of the five setting instead. Has anybody compared these? Any thoughts or opinions? curtisa
Unless I'm not understanding your query, according to this position 3 is already your Telecaster neck + bridge in parallel option.
Jude
Yes, that's the tapped lead. I'm considering replacing the series option with the hot lead in parallel. I was wondering if anyone had compared sounds. Thanks
Jude
Basically use this: http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=tapped_tele_5way instead of the Joe wilson, just using the super switch to change the positions.
