syxxstring Posted January 20, 2004 Report Share Posted January 20, 2004 Are they in the finish or the wood? Is it a maple or rosewood board? Are they sanding marks? Any way of posting pics? Sanding marks either way would be a chore to do with frets in place. If they are in the finish on a maple board they probably could possibly be polished out, but im not sure. It would be hard to do with frets in. Rosewood if its in the grain maybe look at staining it. Again, I dont know about doing this with frets in.
