daveq
Has anyone here used a router to flush trim a fretboard? I would like to use my router table to do this but I'm concerned that it may chip and tear the ebony. I don't know if the fret slots will also create problems (make it more likely to chip) or if they are a non-issue. Has anyone done this before? Lex Luthier
Never had any problems myself. Just cut the edge of thefingerboard real close to your temp or neck or whatever you are using.
