MKGBass
I know this is probably hidden deep in the depths somehwere, and someone's going to give me a link to an infinitely long thread which i'll spend hours sifting through only to find what i dont need. If anyone knows where to buy 42 gauge copper wire BESIDES stew mac (they're out of stock), where can i get it. None of the local hardware stores have it (Lowes, Home Depot, etc...). Thanks, Mitch
darren wilson
Have you tried Radio Shack or some other electronic supply shop?
jbkim
I checked the Lollar supplier link page. It has these two links: http://www.mwswire.com/ http://www.wireandcable.com/ ... or did you want a brick & mortar store?
Saber
There's also these two places: http://www.schattendesign.com http://www.wires.co.uk/acatalog/COPPER.html

DannoG
Here is another place: http://www.ampge.com/ They have a staggered membership/price break. If you live in a big city you could also check out businesses that wind coils. They might sell you a partial spool. I bought 7 lbs of 43 ga. when such a place was going out of business in my town.
