noviceluthier
hey, i really like the stratocaster sound and design, i have a body and a neck from a cheaper strat(fender not squier), and because i dont have pickups i was wondering would i prewired pickguard bought through stewmac sound ok? [url=http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Pickguards/Pre-wired_pickguards.html] i also saw someone selling prewired pickguards with texas specials and "noiseless pickups" but i was wondering whether it was worth the extra price. www
The sound of these pickups may sound great to you if that is what you can afford. Others may think they sound like crap. Why a prewired pickguard? Are concerned with the wiring and /or soldering? The pots, switch and pickups are a low quality. Personally I would would by better quality parts. They will last longer and sound better.

tsl602000
hey, i really like the stratocaster sound and design, hey, me too!! It's all a matter of budget. You could even buy something from Ebay. I just bought a used pickguard on Ebay with three Lace Sensors for $65.... rather cheap. Good luck! noviceluthier
well i made a decision i bought the better quality fender pickups, i wanted a simple good, warm, bell-like sound, not anything hot, or for shredding.
