Dan
Fretboard Shims for sale on ebay for $3.75. Instead of having to buy 8 different ones off stewmac and spend and extra $22, you can buy 1!
Brian
That's an interesting title for them, but if you really want to save time and money go to your local art supply shop and ask them for a straight line eraser sheild for drafting. Should run you about £2 or less Found one example of a complex one here for you in the UK.

Guest AlexVDL
I have used these things, and they suck... sorry to offend anyone, but they keep moving when sanding or polishing the frets. You would have to tape them down, but because they're larger than the width of the neck the tape easily comes off. So I would say... forget these trouble makers, and just use some masking tape between the frets. It takes 5 minutes, but it protects your fretboard from the polish too. LGM Guitars
I agree, they suck. The problem with eraser guards, is they won't fit over wide frets either. also, they aren't long enough for 7 string necks (at least the ones I've found) and, the sharp corner of the fret, is inevitably at the very bottom, where you can't reach with the guard on, and you still need to finish without the guard....
