Maiden69
Hi, I have an Epiphone LP Classic with the flame maple top (I think it's a veneer), And I will like to repaint it. I have read almost all your tutorials and know how to. The question that I have is if I can just paint the top and clear it since the rest of the guitar is in mint condition, I don't play live, just in my house and this is my baby. Just that I will like to paint it with the reranc gold top finish or the lake placid metallic blue. (the guitar that I was going to buy was a dark blue metallic flake, but a piece of the finish fell from it when I picked it up, so I got a deal on this one) I might finish it with nitro, or take it to a car paint place to top with Polyurethane. Thanks for your usual help.
