Ground

On the neck pickup the instructions say that the yellow wire is ground and on the bridge pickup black is ground. Is that correct?

Hmm, well if thats what the instructions say then I would think it would be correct. You could be sure and call either SamAsh, Guitar Center or the store you bought them from, or even just call Fender and ask them. Fender.com has contact information...good luck!

That's correct - the neck pickup is reverse-wound, so the middle position is hum-cancelling. You generally won't go wrong by following the manufacturer's instructions - if you do, and it doesn't work, that's a warranty situation. I'd point you to a wiring diagram, but Fender's servers seem to be down this afternoon.
