I got a problem, i cant figure out how to wire my guitar!! there is only one wire coming from the pickup, and it is a sheilded wire, do i need to use more wire for the ground and such??

If you have a sheilded wire coming from the pickup, then you use the inside wire as the signal and the shield as the ground. That simple.

yea, but what would i use for wire from pots to jack? just regular wire? i got some in the shop right now, it dont have to be sheiled, does it?

The best wire is insulted braided wire. It doesn't have to be shielded to work but some people shield everything to kill hum.

If your cavity is shielded, use whatever you've got handy - 22 or 24 gauge stranded wire is pretty much standard, but solid will work fine. Shielded cable lowers your noise floor but increases the chance of a ground loop unless you know how to use it. Go ahead and do it with what you've got - if it's quiet, you're done, and if it hums, just holler and somebody will help you debug it. :D
