billy Posted April 1, 2003 Report Share Posted April 1, 2003 Hi to everyone, I'm new to the site and just joined the forum. It the best Guitar making site I've been to so far! I need your help please. I plan to build my own guitar over the summer. Right now I,m saving up money for it. I was wandering if anyone had any suggestions about what guitar shape would be easiest to make baering in mind I have never attempted to make one before. I was thinking along the lines of a Jem but am worried about such things as the type of wood to use, and the fitting of the Floyd Rose. At a rough guess would anyone Know how much mahogany would I need, how much would it cost and is there any speacial types ( I heard Brazilian was good.) Quote Link to comment
