fender vi pickups

what kind of pickups would work in a fender vi styled guitar. its set up with spacing similar to a guitar, but its one octave lower.

i bet 6 string bass pickups because even if it is wierd (30" scale strange tuning) it is in the bass octave so they should be bass pickups . I beleive warmoth carries them, maybe guitar pickups because thats what they look like, but i bet they are modified for the bass

okay in final thought, i doubt there is a good replacement, because its a single coil, its thin for a 6 string bass, and wide for a regular guitar, and it is tuned in a bass octave, so this is a complete stumper,
