Ive been looking around a bit, and what ive noticed is that birdseye maple only has birdseyes on two of its faces, so it seems like quartersawn birdseye maple would not show eyes. If this is true, then how are birdseye maple necks usually made? Are they just flatsawn, or do the eyes indeed show when it is quartersawn. Thanks a lot!
