Darn These pots cost a smal fortune

Now I'm thinking to simply have two humbuckers (a swinsehead AMP, and a DiMarzio FRED). Since the swinsehead has no magnet on the bottom and is polepiece magnetic it could do real single coil. Neck - DiMarzio FRED with a pickup cover Bridge - Swineshead AMP Sustainer - Sustainer Thread Muahahahahaha Volume/Tone per pickup Volume pushpull for coil tap (I don't particularly care which one) Tone boost/cut (9volt) pushpull for phase swap (in or out of phase with the other pickup or sustainer for 5th harmonic feedback) Tone Frequency pot (selects the frequency boosted/cut - I got this on my Laney Amp. It works like a wah) pushpull for paralell/series Sustainer Gain pushpull for sustainer on/off Boring ol' 3 way pickup selector I know, that's six pots but what the hey. Who cares. On Pete Townshend's custom model, he had four knobs and two switches the size of knobs. It's possible!

Thanks! That's sorta what I meant. Of course it wouldn't be a standard PushPull Pot... Just make it (I suppose) so that the shaft will interlock with either pot mechanism depending on how you pull it.... Or just have the whole thing in increments of 1/10 the circle and have a star shaped shaft end which goes up and down and shape the inner pot that way. Then, the two SEPERATE pots will always be in sync But the dual pot is simpler than making one myself (I only wish that I could) Thanks guys that was the answere I was looking for!

So with this TBX pot... you can set frequncy of a cut..two of them Can you do something like this in which Push = Neck Volume Pull = Bridge Volume LP in two knobs! YEY I've asked this in about 5 threads...maybe someone will know of some company who makes this kinda pot! Thank'ee SF on PRS

What's a stacked concentric Pot Lemme Guess Push = Bridge volume Pull= Neck volume I'm a bit new aroundabouthere...I can try to diagram it..... I don' t know if it'd help.... If the Concentric pot is what I think it is, I WANT ONE! Thanks!

Hey, On my Les Paul (it's a cheapie Austin Vintage Rock...it is an LP) on both pickups, the neck is dominant; it sounds like the neck with just a tiny bit brighter tone. When I have the neck at 8 and the Bridge at 10, bridge begins to shine through. What causes this? I LOVE it! I'll want these kinds of subtle interactions on my guitars. Thank'ee

Ok... since we're talking about crazy pickup wirings.... I came up with the worst one yet... MiniHum-Hum-MiniHum (all 4pin) PRS Pickup Selector 5-way (push = Sustainer, Pull = Neck, Mid available) 1. Single Coil Bridge+Neck (Minibucker Single Coils muahahahaha ) 2. Single Coil Middle 3. Neck 4. Bridge 5. All Volume Neck/Bridge (Push = Phase in with Mid, Sustainer; Pull = Phase out with Mid, Sustainer) Volumer Mid/Sustainer (Push Pull for Paralell/ Series) Tone boost/cut (9 volt) (Pull) Frequency of boost/cut (Push) Ok... so you have a double pot, push = boost/ cut pull = frequency boosted/cut My amp does this with two knobs Do you know of a manufactor that makes this kind of pot? Thanks!

I've got an amp (Laney LA30) that has a boost/cut pot and a frequency pot... you can choose which frequency, Mid, Treble, Bass (continually variable) and the amount of boost/cut Why use a Mid/Treble pot when you can have a continually various one So... do you know of anyone who makes this in one pot (push is one pot, pull is another) if you do that would be really healpfull!
