Had broadband for the last 12 months. Just gone back to Dial up cos Telstra are a bunch of robbing sods!!! Ended up costing me $1800,00 AU for 1 year!!!

Walnut definately isnt the easiest wood to work with but I agree looks amazing when completed and finished. The inlays look great, but next time try yew, I just think it may end up a little darker than the walnut. I've made many a grandfather clock out of both and have to say my fave is yew. Congrats though the work is stunning!

Ok so as many of you know already Matia my bro died last year, well I was digging through his stuff today and found the last song he ever recorded. Including his vocals which now I find quite scarey as the are... As I walk into the night... always remember... I will never forget you. So here is the challenge. With so many talented musicians on this board please download this song and solo over it. I have thought about doing it myself but dont feel like I would do it justice. I'd rather open it up to all you guys. Lee was a talented guy, in the past he has worked with Robbie Williams, Geri Haliwell and the spice girls on there recordings and tutorings which I guess he didnt probably tell you... Silly bastard always did want to be the quiet one~! So see what you think. This particular track is pretty spiritual one so were looking for all the glam guys from the 80's I guess. Best track I'll produce myself and I will promise to release to all PG members on CD. hope this is ok with Brian and the MODS!!! but I'm willing to cut a pro copy of each CD and send it to each member of PG forum that wants one for shipping costs only. I have to say that without Brian this site would not be possible and now that kevan has become more active on the board it really does seem to be getting its act together. i Just hope you guys really make this site worth something and for the large part turn it into the site it was back at the start of 2003. Yeah everybody needs a cleanout every now and then and thanks kev for offering to sell me your RG egypt for free thats fantastic! But seriously good on ya guys every ( serious member of PG is here and right behind ya! ). As DLR once said... Thank heavens for little girls... and some of the big ones too! I know my bro Lee ( aka Matia) really loved this site and would be on here every night just getting as much info as he could. Thats what its all about, making the info more avaliable for the masses, but I would like to thank you all for contributing. PG is entering a new phase and we should all be excited about it! This site is for guitar building and playing. No actually its the BEST for guitar building and playing! Lets all make it the best we can and thank those that put the effort in to make it happen. so you should it looks great! When i meant deep I meant to the pickguard side, I was worried it may mean you have to change the shape of the pickguard to fit. Sorry for the poor explaination. I was origianally a pom y'know.! But other than that the job is top. Excellent!

yeah your right about the in progress stuff, but they don't really need to be pinned, so it wouldn't matter too much if an in progress thing finishes up and is kinda tutorial like, a tut version that's cleaned up could be put on the main site, and the forum would still be free of overpinning Fantastic were instant einstiens! haahaha

yeah I have to say that probably the biggest crutch of the site at tthe moment in that a lot of members are lazy in the search features, although the search features could also be improved. But its great to see PG working together to create a better place for us all! lets keep it up!

Actually that a really good point KI. Im thinking from the in progress side, but still I have to say your right!

kev and Brian in regards to the bandwityh issue how about the in progress site becomes a place where we can only email Pics and a brief description of works through to the site and anyone wishing to compliment these guitars. Basses and whatever can only do so in another linked forum. kinda seperating the praise out and yet still keeping the origianl topic free for those of us on dial up? Is that possible or something that can be looked into? one smiley... ahhhhhhhhhhh
