  1. Yep, simple enough, and the on/off switch for the circuit board itself isnt going to be too difficult. I take it you want some sort of switch on your guitar to switch between normal sound and the TS sound.
  2. It turned out good lovekraft, the FF works fine in the guitar, two controls accessible through knobs on the front and the other three accessible by screwdrivers in the back. Ok just contact me when you have the info, but il need to start some work on this project in about a week.
  3. Yes I went ahead and installed the Z-Vexx Fuzz Factory into my guitar.
  4. Cool, thanks for that reply DaveQ.
  5. Whats the TC Electronics G-Major like?
  6. Could we have some pictures in a day or two and in a week or two aswell
  7. Cool, it all sounds cool. Yes that link by monkey didnt seem to be going anywhere. One question psw, you say your hex driver is 6 single drivers for each string. Are they six single drivers the same spec, or slightly different due to the difference in the string sizes?
  8. That latest pic looks cool psw. I can see your very proud of it too (mass advertising on each of your posts lol). Whats the smaller version like? Just the same but smaller?
  9. Well unfortunately there is no fast way to do it. And asking everyone else wont speed up the process. They wont read stuff for you and give you all the answers on a plate which is what you are trying to get. You seem eager, just read stuff through.
  10. Wow, cool. Do you have any pictures?
  11. Not sure exactly what your asking Ansil. But in the UK i think our mains power is around 240V.
  12. Cool idea psw to create this thread. Well done! Your a good asset to this forum.
  13. Why have you made a new thread for this? You could just easily have reposted this question in the current thread. Plus i read that thread, i'm sure people have answered your Q's.
  14. bloody hell psw, you've got that thing down to an incrediby small size.
  15. I have a feeling your going to be told to do a search for this information. But to be honest, you will get a wealth of information about piezos by using the search cause i've done it once and there are a couple of good threads with info on the things.
  16. Yeah, whats been said so far has been what I would have posted. On my custom, I have a TOM. I started off with a trem on a strat, but never once used it, so I thught whats the point in buying a guitar/having one made with something on that I wont use. TOM look good too in my opinion. Plus I didn't want anything that was string through, so this really only left TOM (as i didnt want a trem so that ruled out floyed rose or other double locking trems). That was my justification anyway.
  17. Bloody hell psw, what a post!. Thanks for the information, i'm a little confused on the whole thing though.
  18. Ok, thanks. Can I also ask whats up with modes? Why do they exist? Are they purely there so you can play the same scale in different positions on the fretboard? Or are they something to do with a different sound to the scale too (which I dont understand if none of the notes of the scale change). When would you use one mode over another etc. This is really confusing me.
  19. From reading threads of eople's previous expierience with similar buzz problems, i'd say go check all your wiring to make sure everything is wired up correctly and especially make sure everything is grounded properly. And also that they then get taken to the jack ground lug.
  20. This has probably beed said before so I apologise in advance. This is just a quick question to do with the normal version of scales and the pentatonic. The difference between the pnetatonic of a scale and the normal scale is that the pentatonic is five notes and five modes. By using a pentatonic scale rather than the full scale, are you loosing out on extra notes and therefore loosing out on potentially better sounds? Hope that makes sense.
  21. I don't know about the others in terms of distortion and harmonics. But the Kent Armstrong Motherbucker can scream and spit harmonics incredibly well if wired the right way. I should know, I have one in my guitar in the bridge position. It is incredibly powerfull and I can get great harmonics out of it too.
  22. Noooooooooooo Lovekraft got to this thread before I did. I was going to answer those questions lol. Oh well he said everything I was going to say.
  23. Nah, I fully understand now. So I have wired my pickup switch correctly (as in when the switch is pointing towards the bridge, it is the bridge pickup thats selected). Thanks.
  24. Yeah, so my wiring is from left to right (looking down on the switch with the ground leg closest to me) its neck, wire to vol pot, bridge. So when the switch pushes the plate away that the neck p/u wire is connected to, the bridge pickup is selected (which also means the switch is pointing towards the bridge, and therefore correct logical wiring).
  25. About those gibson 3-way toggle switches. When the toggle bit, pushes away one of the metal plates from the midde. Is that disconnecting that pushed away plate from the middle connection (as in deselecting whatever pickup is connected to that end of the switch)? Or is it the other way around. Example, I have wired mine, bridge pickup on the right and neck on the left. If the pickup switch is pointing towards the bridge (as in it is pushing away the little metal plate the neck pickup is connected to, does this leave the middle and bridge plate connected or is it the other way around and therefore I have wired my switch in reverse? Thanks for any help.
