    i have an esp f series bass and the knob(generic chrome bell knob)fell of and ive tried everything it wont go back on and tighten..how the hell do i get this stubborn thing back on? sorry if this is in the wrong forum

    when it says glued together doesnt sound very sturdy and stable to me like i would goto cut it and it would fall apart?also when painted do you see a seem line where the pieces are glued?

    hey thanks for all the replies..to answer guitar ed i want a bright tone with good lows(if that makes any sense bands like eighteen visions/hatebreed) edit: i stumbled upon a two piece mahogany blank for under 60 dollars...but it is a two piece body...what exactly is a two piece body(glued)?

    I like it white binding looks sharp..though i dont like the 'mick' inlay...

    Alder body, h/s/h config., floyd rose bridge(has a small chip missing from the bridge pocket should not affect anything by request i will take a pic. I won this of ebay hoping to use it as my first project but after advice from here i decided floyd rose wasnt the way to go for me.... Will sell for $30 plus shipping or trade for another body... }No Use for One{

    Hey guys, i decided a floyd is not for me because of the tunings i use...how would i go about adjusting it for a standard 2 hole tremolo?(is it even possible?)or what about a wilkinson arent they like a floyd rose?

    Hey guys thanks for all your help.i realized after i posted the difference in cavitys..i wanted to steer away from floyds because of all ive heard and found a schaller floating bridge that is made to replace locking bridges..then i thought about routing the cavity for a floating tremolo...thoughts? edit: i looked at brians link and like what i see but i down tune alot(drop c)and would having a floyd create problems with downtuning?
