    yes, most likely, thats the one thing I'm debating actually, I have it like that on my SG and I dont mind it, but I'm sure I'd like it if I used a switch, but I don't need it.

    couldnt you also put multiple leds behind an odd shaped semi trransparent material for a big light that looks like something. like inlay a bird or something but behind it put some leds so it looks like a blue glowing bird or something?

    while im on the subject how many volts should a capacitor be rated? just the same as the power supply? more? less?

    ok, I've been trying to buy some capacitors because i need capacitors that are .1uf, 22uf, etc. But I went ot small bear electronics to put them in my shopping cart, and all he has is mf. I've spent about an hour trying to find out the conversion rate between mf and uf. So, I've found two places on google that tell an abbreviation for microfarads. One says uf and the other says mf. ***? is it really the same, did I wawste all this time, or is one site wrong?

    well, this guitar will be mainly for gigs and rehearsals so i would be standing up when I use this one. So the arm rest aint no thang. I've even made a template and its not anything to worry about for me. Oh yeah, I forgot 2 things. The neck will be a 5 peice laminate: maple, ebony, purplrheart, ebony, maple. And the sides and back will probably be painted black to minimize obvious veneer seems.

    hey guys. I recently bought some maple to start a guitar. ITs gonna be a RR3 with an upside down body. Its gonna have 22-4 frets and no inlays except a whole guitar pick acros 11-12-13th frets. The electronics will include a jack and an on/off switch. Some people deem the on off switch unnesecary, but I thought it would be handy to have. this is a preview of what it will look like: the only thing different will be the headstock logo (it will probably be my signature in a silver sharpie) and the inlay will be there. Also, the lower horn will be straighter (not so curvy on the inside). It will have a mahognay body with home wound pickups. Tell me what you think. Oh, BTW, it'll be 24.75 inch scale.

    or even switch between colors between long notes, or you know waht would be killer? probably not possible but *would be* awesome: leds hooked up to the tremelo bar so when you press down and the notes shift down, the color shifts from blue to red etc. OMG that would be deadly. I wonder if some kind of potentiometer based project could work with that?

    the one comlaint i have with all my recordings is that it isnt clear at all. its gummy and muffled which probably has to do with my computers age/soundcard. i run a dell that had win 98 on it, but we upgraded to xp, im thinking about investing in a better soundcard, any reccomendations?

    the fan in my mg100dfx is the only way I can tell its on besides the indicator LED.

    this is my theory, I'm posting this so a more knowledgable person can verify/prove wrong my theory. I bet if you duplicated the power amp stage of it and wired one right after another it would double the volume/wattage but I dunno if you would need to alter the preamp stage.

    you dont need usb to get a quality sound. you can use this http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?cata...ct%5Fid=274-366 either from your amp or straight from your guitar to the mic input and record using audacity or another free software. if you get a few plugins you can even have effects.
