    A black sanded down and blue ontop of like http://vwallguitars.com/SL2HT%20Trans%20black.jpg except with blue, but on a plain maple top?? My guitar I was plannin on doin it a maple/walnut/maple neck, with mahogany wings and a plain maple top. Then I was gonna paint the sides white.

    and quit saying they have a contract with PRS. Okay lets do a little scenerio here: You work at GC and am trying to make the most money via commission possible. How do you do that you ask??? You try to sell the most expensive guitars there. But which one is the most expensive you ask ??? Well lets see, Fender, no not expensive enough, Gibson pretty expensive but I think theres one higher, PRS ding ding ding. The most expensive non vintage guitar you're likeyly to find in a guitar shop.

    I'm glad PRS pulls the auctions that have PRS in the title but have nothing to do with it. I get so pissed when I see all these auctions like "Gibson Les Paul, Fender Strat, PRS, MARSHALL, capo". If I'm doing a search for a les paul, I get all these crap auctions that have nothing to do with it. STOP PUTTING COMMON NAMES IN YOUR AUCTIONS IDIOTS.

    WHAT???? DO MY HOMEWORK??????? you got some nerve buddy, I know all about Jimmy Page, He used a tele at first, until Joe Walsh, sold a 58 Les Paul. He had a 59 les paul which was his main guitar, he also used other varying guitars. 12 strings, accoustics, his Danelectro. He used some strats too, you're right.. So don't just go and ASSume that I don't know about Jimmy Page's guitars

    OH CRAP, I just caught it. I was thinking of doing a maple/walnut/maple neck, dangit. what would that sound like??? I'm toying around with the idea of just adding a plain maple top, or would that be too bright? I'm going for a 70's rock and roll guitar here..

    Wow dude, you did some tough curves with no woodworking experience. I hope you didn't just mess up and make it a "Feature" . I'm actually going to a guitar pretty similar to that, black with a white pickguard with the cut-away not so sharp. Congratulations, hope it plays like a dream, and kudos for breaking outside of the box, instead of the same ol same ol.

    NOOOOOO, what'd you do to that LP??? JK, I'm a big fan of sunburst and all those, but if you want a solid EVH type design, go for it. Can't wait to see the final pics

    Well the best radius, is just what you feel most comfortable with, try playing different guitars that have a 16" radius compared to a 10 or 8"....

    Your improvasional skills aren't very poor, you repeated a few licks a couple times, is all I could see, but a over nice bluesy tone...

    You're pretty much right there, but as for the neck joint not being very tight, I'd say that has to vary from Les Paul to Les Paul. My neck joint is plenty tight, as is my dad's....

    Purple Heart is really hard, so I don't think you'll have a problem with the fingerboard
