That is deadly look'en purpleheart it look's just like the stuff Iam useing right now I love the neck wood's, it all look's great !!METAL MATT!!

Well If I where you I would not use a router to finish the spikes I would use a belt sander OR a [os-a-late-ing sander ] wow not sure if that's spelled right and the botom line is for the neck slot make sure that you leave some meat for the neck and maybe fix it up a bit that's all that line is for so good luck !!METAL MATT!!

Well normaly I would leave it alone since I love Purpleheart but the Purple does not work with this design I want an Evil dark looking beast and blood red look's deadly. I never had to struggle to stabalize the purple coloration before but I realy wan't to try something new and working with dye is something that I've never realy done before so it should be fun!! !!METAL MATT!!

Well what you see is just the top witch is purpleheart I still have to glue and cut out the back witch is Bubinga It look's great and it's tough stuff so it will hold up but I don't plan on slaming the guitar around so it will be Ok !!METAL MATT!!

well I think the tribal on the body is realy weak and tryhardish but the whole guitar is great for what it is I realy like the neck!! cool inlay works well with the guitar. !!METAL MATT!!

Well Iam building a 7-string Annihilator my self and Iam using a EMG 81 7-string active pickup Iam working on the design right now and I think it look's best on the guitar but then I love 7-string guitars so I say go with the 7-string !!METAL MATT!! EDIT:> the best one that shows the whole guitar is at www.octoberguitars.com it's not the best but theres not a lot to go on out there sorry !!

Well I did them on a large belt sander and by hand mostly by hand and Iam still in pain and no I did not build the neck it's an old vantage neck that I did alot of MOD'S too and It worked out great. Thanks !!METAL MATT!!

Hey I just saw the 3rd one I dont know why I did not see it before anyway That design kick's ass out of the 3 I would go for that one first It realy reminds me of Scott ians [ANTHRAX] JJ2 Jackson if it work's out well you would have one deadly guitar!! !!METAL MATT!!

Well I like the first one it look's like a beafy annihllator but the second one looks like something took a bit out of an old SG but I like the idea behind your desing just give that botom edge a bit less meat or make it more blade like but that's just me to me all guitars should be looking like EVIL weapons or winged beast's so good luck and I hope they work out. !!METAL MATT!!
