    Tokai is also a japan company i believe who hear makes some dang good guitars for the price, i hear they are better then epi's and around the same price.

    I play my blue explorer i built, but also play all my boughten guitars too. I have a cheap epi les paul (that one is loned out at the moment), a epi sherraton 2 semi hollow body (the noel gallahger one to be exact with the british flag paint job) and my lte esp kirk hammett. I will post pics later.

    Thats going to be the only way you are going to be able to get it off, good ole sand paper and refinish.

    Now i want one of those jigs too lol. We should start a pinned thread of all the jigs people can find, that way it will make making guitars that much easier if someone needs/wants to make a jig for somehting they need.

    I just got back from the home depot lol. I got a pack of files for 10 bucks..... Im really wondering if they are going to be any good. They are located here... After i bought them i was thinking only 10 bucks for all of this.... So i dont know, they are prolly inferear and crappy stuff but never know until u try right?

    Just curious what tools you guys use to make ur necks.... Im getting more into making necks and trying to find an easier way to do it then sitting there for 2-3 hours and carving for days on end lol.....

    Anyone at all? Im thinking about building one cause i know in the end it will save me tons of time in shaping necks and what not. Im just wondering how much it cost and how difficult it is....

    Ok good, i thought i was ok but just wouldnt have the edges square. I will match the round over on both sides and just use it that way.

    Hey guys, i was just thinking about some words that i dont know what they mean. Then the idea hit me of making a glossary for unfamilary terms that we dont know the meaning of and maybe someone can come along and answer them. Like i know some people odnt know that AANJ means "all access neck joint". Personally i have no idea what chambered means. I always hear about chambered les pauls and i dont what it means.. Anyone? Also post terms that you are unfamilary with too. Lets get this thing rollin....

    He has to run the wiring before he routes it cause its a neck through and someone else is building the neck for him.

    Matt, i was think about what we talked about, bout drilling a big hole and running the leds straight through, and you said that u were affraid of cutting through the wire when u routed the pup cavity. It you did route and cut the wire, you could just solder another wire to that wire..... I dont maybe you just trying to avoid that, but to me that seems like the ONLY way to do this.

    I bought all my leds from mouser. The exact brand and model are Everlight Super Bright, Brill-Grn Wtr Clr. Here is a link to them is here. Those the exact ones i used. Let me know if you need anything else man.

    haha yeah im only 17, but duff beer man has been my online since i was 14. I just always love the simpsons character. Im working on the pics, i will go get another cord this weekend cause i get paid.

    Metal Matt, be advised that green leds doesnt nessacaryly mean that color of green. The first time i bought my blue ones, i got green with them, but when i lit them up they were bright yellow green instead of bright green. If you want help with anything send me and im on msn or something.

    Here is a couple of teaser pics i took with my phone. My cord to my digi cam broke so i cant upload the pics, i will post lots more when i get a new one. Remember that these were taking with the lights off and they lit up my room :D:D

    Yeah will be good to buy the whole harness from him so u dont have to do it, but what if you have to repair it . lol. Cant to see it though man.....
