You better get both, put em both on layaway, beleive me from a Woman, you will be in big trouble, that guitar will be her worst enemy so buy both, a Womans mind is wayyyyyyyy different from a Mans and she will somehow someway someday make you regret the day you got the guitar and not the ring.... Make your girl in her material ways happy as you can then you can play your heart out on your new toy.

Speaking of becoming one with your instrument, well this is from a girls point of view, but the cutout on my guitar fits perfectly around my breast, cups it nicely, now why doesnt someone make a strap that does not squish or separate them.....

I would go for #1 I want the quality but i also want it soon too When i get an idea or an urge to get something new i need to use it immediately, i wear many hats in my life and use them all so that makes me a bit impatient at times.
