    Just had a look for the 550's... the Ibanez dealer i was going to buy from doesnt stock them second hand or new Found one on Ebay but im not so sure on another black guitar... i have 2 black guitars and that is one reason i was attracted to the RG350DX Any other opinions or suggestions?     For some time now i have liked the look of Ibanez's and have now got *some* money and want to go and get one Now before anyone suggests it.... i CANT afford a JEM but given i would love to own one! Now... Ive looked at the RG350DX and it looks quite good but want some more opinions.. perhaps someone on here owns one?? So any problems i should be aware of before i go and buy one? Link to RG Picture The price im looking at paying for it is £319 (approx $584 USD) If you think this guitar is bad, what other RG's (in the same price range) are worth it? or perhaps not even an RG?     Another great guitar Maiden... random question and doesnt need to be taken serious but just thinking... you seem to use a different "Neck Handle thingy" for each project... e.g your kelly project looked like an ol' scaffolding pole.. whats that one?! lol Once again great work maiden ~~ Slain Angel ~~

    Hmm my first time creating a topic in the Inlays and finishing chat i think Anyway... After reading through BlackKnight's post, i want to do a swirl on my Jem RG type thing... Unfortuntly over here in the UK i am yet able to find any sites that sell Borax... i dont want to order from overseas if possible... Am i looking for the right thing? Anyhelp would be appreciated Thanks ~~ Slain Angel ~~ Edit: Just realised that BlackKnight is in the UK so it is possible to buy it over here... im obviously either not looking in the right places or not looking for the right thing....

    Hey Maiden thats some great work youve got there... i LOVE the shape of kellys and that is an awseme finish youve done there!     If you look at the picture you can see where the "clear" pickguard sits ontop of the swirl... and dude can i congratulate you again! thats a great swirl... i have an unfinished Jem lookalike sitting just to the left of me... i have a feeling its going to come face to face with a bucket of borax soon ~~ Slain Angel ~~

    If you ever consider recording with your bass through your pc and want to spend money.. id recommend Sonar 4 Producers edition... Meanwhile whilst your just experimenting and need "free" software i recommend Audacity... its relased under the Open source license meaning its COMPLETLY free... it supports VST plugins and is great for simple jam session recordings! ~~ Slain Angel ~~

    I think you mean and YJM , and yeah, get the 89 and save it for a different project, you won't be dissapointed. ← yeh YJM... close enough i suppose lol Ive heard great things about the YJM so should be good fun!
