I just started a hollowbody project. I'm going to do a Gibson ES 175 style body. Here are some specs:
Honduran Mahogany Back
Flame Maple Top (thanks fryovanni)
Trapeze style tailpiece
Tune-o-matic bridge, blocked
Mahogany neck (purchased from the -bay)
Ducan '59's with chrome covers
Dual sound or F holes
No pick/scrape guard (I want to see as much flame as possible)
Haven't decided on stain, but I have amber. Check out the pic of the maple and I'll take suggestions.
Deft laquer finish on top, but may only tung oil the mahogany back, undecided.

You can slightly make out my template above in this pic. I used an internet pic, blew it up in Microsoft Paint, then printed the 4 quadrants off on typing paper, then taped them together to get the right size.
