  3. The head unit amp thingie (you know what I am talking about) is 80 watts at 8 ohms. On the back, it has an external speaker jack and that says don't go lower than 8 ohms. What kind of speakers do I need? I am liking the Eminence.
  4. I have a reversed headstock, shark fin Jackson neck with locking nut.
  5. The only 6 inch speakers I can find, even pro audio is 4 ohms. Well, the Radio Shack ones are 6.
  6. I am having a hard time getting 6 inch speakers. Can I get the car speakers to use in my amp?
  7. Make an offer. Also, make sure you can legally own these. And the concussion mortar is not to be used inside. It will make everyone go deaf.
  8. Anyone play in a band and want some pyro? You're going to have a hard time actually using these in clubs since Great White. If you are playing outside in your backyard or something these are pretty cool. 2 Flame Projectors/Throwers (Shoot flames up from the ground) 2 Flash pots (bright light and some smoke) 1 FESTIVAL Concussion Mortar (Insanely loud bang. You can literally hear it for miles)
  9. I checked all three. All of them are good.
  10. I had a Boss MG-80 which I really wasn't too fond of. I had a guy interested in buying it, so I plugged it so he could hear how it sounded. It blew up right infront of the guy. There doesn't look like there's any damage, no black marks or anything, but it smelled pretty bad. Think it's possible to fix it? Anyone interested in a project amp for $20?
  11. I'm running out of stuff to sell, and I'm still poor. My digital camera collection is up for sale: Sony Cybershot P-30 (1.3MP) Canon Powershot G2 (4.0MP) Sony Handycam DCR-DVD200 Video Camera complete with box, manuals, all the cables, and 3 mini dvds (Do I smell a new section on Project Guitar, Video Tutorials?) Make offer. I need money quick, so these will go on eBay on Monday, if no one is interested.
  12. Sweet. What kind of bit would I need to make the usual beveled edge?
  13. So the edges were saned way too far. Now, that nice even bevel is gone. If I bring it back up with Bondo, could I go over it with a rounding bit, or is Bondo not that strong?
  14. $50 for the each tele or sg body. $100 for the strat body.
  15. I uploaded some pictures here: http://img64.photobucket.com/albums/v195/sjaguar13/
  16. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! That's just funny, I enjoyed that , I know the feeling well man HAHAHA....You post this, then the dumb kid called! I hope he didn't read it. It's taken him two and a half weeks to get back to me. It took him a week to talk to his band, then 4 days to talk about getting the money (which isn't a good sign), then when he was supposed to come over, he never showed up. I emailed him and he said he feel asleep.
  17. One pair is a 15" Community. I don't know much about them. The other is Xaudio: DJ15.1 15" pa/dj speaker cabinet loaded with accordion surround woofer, 5x15 horn tweeter, carpeted black, 1" metal corners, rubber feet, plastic bar handles, steel grill, dual 1/4" input jacks as well as speaker clips, made of 5/8" particle board, braced well and sealed in each crease, tuned and ported with dual 4x5 abs ports. Includes 1 3/8" steel 3" deep tripod mount. Specs 300 watts rms 600 watts peak 8ohms 30-20,000hz 96db 28T x 18W x 14D 50 lbs Drivers Woofer---15" pro audio woofer with accordion surround, 50 oz. magnet and 2.5" kapton voice coil. Stamp frame basket and paper cone. Tweeter---Piezo electric with built on crossover cut at 2000hz. Suggested Power 20-350 watts rms It's always best to match rms rating of cabinet to your amplifier power rating. Key Qualities This cabinet has very good low end response and crisp highs. Like the dj12.1, this cabinet is fairly acurate, yet it handles a good amount of power. This is probably the most used cabinet we have, It works good in so many applications and holds up well. People seem to have nothing but good things to say about it. Applications One man band, mid size DJ gigs, weddings, studio monitors, churches and good for full pa use, minus the drum kit.
  18. It started with a lower end Marshall that came with generic Celestions (I believe they are G12s). My brother's band went for the low tuned seven string sound, so they bought 2 Celestion 30s for metal, and 2 Celestion Century Vintages for the low end. They stuck those in the Marshall, and took the G12s out. They bought a homemade cab, it's good quality, but it's plywood and carpet, and stuck the G12s in there.
  19. $400 for the head and half stack. I was kinda hoping to sell the 85 amp and guitar together.
  20. I need money. My brother and I have a studio half built (control room is basically done) and we need it up before the summer is over. We are selling a crap load of extra gear. If you want it, it's yours) The dude from France came through.
