MXR MicroAmp i found this schematic and a board for this here http://www.tonepad.com/project.asp?id=6. would this be hard to make? and about how expensive do u think it will be. also can yall help me with the schematic

does anyone know where i can get pedal schematics, or other websites that sells kits instead of small bear? if i cant find anything else i think ill go with the tweak-o

well i was thinking after i get my cab (used Marshall 1960A) and get my head retubed i want to start building my pedal. but i was thinking if im going to build something might as well build something im going to use. i personally hate fuzz pedals and i was thinking wut about a clean boast? something like a MXR micro amp, does anyone no where i can get a kit or no how i can build a boost pedal? this project will prolly start in like 2 months so i have time to learn what im doing.

im not much of a beast fan but DAMN. that thing is nice. i would kill to have that guitar

ya i think im goin to get the tweak-o fuzz pedal but it will have to wait since i just bought me a 160 watt tube amp for 160 bucks. ya thats right a tube head for a 160 bucks. its a peavey mace made in the 70s the same one that the guitarist from lynyrd Skynyrd used in the 70s. so now i got to find me a cab and get some new tubes. if u have any ideas please tell me i play music like thrice and avenged sevenfold. thanks for all the help so far

i would like to make either an overdrive or a boster. would those be easy to make? or would i be better off getting the tweak-o for my first time?

i no im going to prolly get a lot of crap about this but i tried to search multiple times and i couldnt find anything (kept giving me an error) now i want to build a pedal (any type, distortion, wah, phase, ect.) but i dont want to go ordering things off the internet unless i have to. i dont really have any experiance with electronical stuff but i feel confident enough that if some gave me a diagram and told me wut everything was i would be able to build it. my main goal is to try to get everything from radio shack or some place simular to those. if anyone here has ever made a pedal from just radio shack parts or no of a thread where someone has done please point me to it. i might get the tweak-o (forgot where i saw it) because i heard its easey and the instructons looked easy. i do have a soldering iron and i do no how to use it any help would be greatly appreceated

for the inlay u might want to do something only on the 12th fret. the lady would be cool but not on this guitar. the launch pad to me isnt too bad but i think it would be better if u get rid of it and put another f hole. or u can round the corners of it a lil more, but thats just wut i think and its all up to u. but that is a kickass guitar, keep up the good work

dude that guitar is awesome. im planning on building a RG 7 string and i was thinking about using the same pups. how do they sound and wut kind of music do u play? but kickass guitar man

ya u r right i do need to do a little bit more research and i do plane on getting a book but i havent ordered it yet. the drop top will be a little hard for my first. and i do think u r right about the body blank on ebay. i did find a bandsaw im going to buy at a pawn shop for 50 bucks and im prolly going to get a router. but thanks for the help and im not going to start this until im 100% sure on wut i want. but once again thanks for the help

ya i decides to save this porject idea for next time. now im thinking about making an ibanez rg 6 or 7 string not sure. would a 7 string be any harder? i dont think it would but ive always wanted a 7 string, what do u guys thinlk? is this a lil much for a first project?

ya i have been researching for about a month or two about this stuff. i didnt no how expensive those tops would be, i thought they were gonna be around 50 maybe 75. since they are a lil expensive ill just go with no drop top. thanks for the help.

i want to put a drop top ( i think thats wut its called) on my guitar. the main body wood will probably be mahogany or maple not sure though. i want to put either a rosewood or a Cocobolo on it. my main question is how would i do this. what im guessing i do is make the body out of the main wood and then make the same shape on the top wood and glue them together. where can i get some of this wood (maybe a different peice but i want it to look like it). if this is right what kind of glue do you u use? also i dont have a tool to route the pups and neck pocket. would a jig saw work and how would i would i do it with a jig. i no u can use a router tool but i dont no where to get one. ill go down to a rent-a-center to see if they have one (doubt they will). Whats the difference between a one peice and a multipeice? like would the tone change? i plane on using an oil finish so it will look like the natual wood. and do u think this might be a little complicated for a first timer? this is wut i kinda want it to look like
