    It will be pore filled and finished with the Danish oil / carnauba wax, excepting fret board who gets the satin poly finish for better protection.

    My first bass was the 30" Les Paul bass copy. The only detail I don't liked was the terrible neck dive, otherwise I'd kept it. Anyway, I am one of those anti-sustain guys. Foam mutes forever

    I tried, it doesn't work The tuners are "hipshot lic". Does it mean they are "true" Hipshots or just licenced by Hipshot (like "Duncan desined" pickups aren't the true duncans)?

    Basically: bolder attack, lesser definition (more "muddiness"), shorter sustain. But between the 34" and 32" there won't be so much difference as between 34" and 30". My idea was to create the bass strung with roundwounds to sound a little bit more like flatwounds keeping the feel of roundwounds.

    My B&D had 3 collets: 6mm, 8mm and 1/4". Or you can buy conversion aftermarket collets too

    I wish I had a garage Actually, I am living in the Paris suburb's appartment (read "small") and work in the corner of my kitchen. Those are my son's dominos but laptop is actually mine. WiFi is nice thing to have! You could tell from the picture that I brush my hair sometimes

    contoured the body (1/2 roundower router bit) and routed the pickup cavities. Now waiting for the birdseyes maple board from Larry Davis and the trussrod from my local supplier...

    My question is simple: what happends if I post here the pictures from my current projects already featured on other forums? Will it be concidered as "abuse"? I just like to share what I do with more people but I don't want to get the "negative" image Or should I better create my proper site and just post the links here?

    Hi , all, I just became the member of this wonderful community! I am an amateur guitarist and bassist, I customized, repared and restored about a dozen instruments but this year I am finally starting to build from scratch. So to speak now I am an amateur luthier too I'll post the pictures of my project in the "current projects" area.
