    Now that is one cool guitar. I presonally think that you should have gone with gold hardware though.

    I have that on my strat but and i think its pretty normal if your using a thin pick.

    just go for a H-H-H setup, which isnt extreme as the one that psw posted. would that be a H setup or S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S setup?

    so laquer can only be coated every 2 weeks due to cure time or can it have various coats and then be left to cure?

    Im kinda sick of the shape of my strat and was wondering if any one has tweaked it or it can even be tweaked. Im thinking of making a sharper more evil strat design based on the BC Rich Dagger or Virgin. Ill call it the Virgincaster or Daggercaster hahahhaah. I am willing to change the pickguard shape but am worried about there not being enough tweaking space. My Design:

    i like it! the new shape is much better but i liked the old neck better. did you use trim paint and scufffing to paint the hardware because it has a good finish

    i think its a mixer 'board' with like tone and volume buttons with that pulling thingy i see on some amps

    yeah thats what i meant. Ive been learning from the project guitar website and forum and am pretty confident on how to paint and strip it. im just lacking money to actually do it. 1st i have to buy the parts: - mighty mite motherbuckers - clear gibson bell knobs - locking tuners - ernie ball power slinky strings and then ill start the body work. i used a program called zmodeler to made a digital prediction.

    there was a gotoh one for sale but the paint was a bit scuffed so i bought the jackson one. btw: what are the advantages and disadvantages of having 5 springs on the bridge?

    its not a no name one, it said it was a lisenced floyd rose tremolo.

    ive read up on everything except electronics and the forum rules, which i really should add a photo to it but i cant upload the pics of my guitar (windows 98). ive decided to do the rr first with - floyd rose - mighty mite motherbuckers - clear gibson bell knobs - locking tuners - ernie ball power slinky strings right now everything has been taken apart and i have just bought my bridge and have to sand down the strings back due to bad finish.

    yeah ive decided to buy a Mighty mite motherbucker set because of thier cheapness and quality. i read about them and have got positive reviews saying that there better and more value than emgs and seymour duncans.     the guitar shop near me quoted $250 AU for original floyd rose bridge. all prices that i say are in AUD (AUS dollar)

    So if i make my Epiphone Gothic Flying V with the rr body and some other non epiphone parts, how would it be legal to sell it on ebay? Epiphone Flying V custom copy?

    I just won an ebay item and i rang the local guitar shop to ask how much they sell it for and they quoted $250, but im not sure if he knew what he was talking about. They sell on ebay for around 100$ and im not sure if i got ripped off. Link Its off a mid 90s jackson guitar and doesnt come with a locking nut.
