my gutiar finish will be NC Lacqaur? ( Sepelling is not good ^^) Poly uretan? is need heat.. but i dont have heat muchine.. this time i will finish use my teacher's machine.. hand finish(Useing Brush) is difiicult.. ^^ and need more practice..

hi.. i use stemac files.. but i try no need to leveling work. i think 1. fingerboard woking very importand 2. fretting work this 1, 2 is no need leveling woking .. at last is leveling.. leveling is last method.. sorry.. T_T english is not my language.. have nice day..

i have many curly softmaple.. so i will try curly soft maple for neck.. and use fingerboard ebony.. soft maple is soft so.. i will use fingerboard too dense ebony.. i think.. softmaple + heavy dense fingerboard is same to hardmaple + rosewood or maple fingerboard when hardmaple use neck.. using ebony is too high tone sound.. hardmaple is long sustain than soft maple.. i will try softmaple and use dense fingerboard and fingerboard thick is big.. mahogany is soft than maple.. but mahogany is dense about maple.. so mahogany is used guitar.. because of soft and easy working.. stable, dense.. i allway making neck is knife, chiesle, i have router but allmost neck woking is knife. that is my teacher's sugestion.. it is realy usefull for understood wood.. softmaple use for neck is my thinking.. not rule.. so use forum.. ^^ this is bonus pic ^^ yesterday.. my baby's ^^ too happy ... cleaning guitar haha.. and body's black line is edit line position ^^ more know.. wood by knife.. feeling wood by knife and hands.. have nice day..

yes T_T my mistake is inlay dot position.. my teacher allway say to me.. don't hurry up.. have a enough time to make guitar. check & check.. this is my mistake.. (soft + dense) have nice day..

T_T my find method is not rule.. only my think.. when i buy new maple.. i will find this maple wood and buy it.... ^^ original soft maple.. in center line is splate maple line.. 2th pic wood is my best lovely sound body(45mm).. 1th pic body is 39mm so i laminated back.. ^^ have nice day..

YDoesGodMockMeSo i understand your comment now T_T i will naver make 22 fret guitar or 21 fret guitar. i make only 24 fret.. and neck & body joint start point is allway 16 fret.. and when i skill making guitar.. i make glue joint neck.. i think setin neck is easy than bolt on joint, we are not company making rule.. we are allway make guitar all hands.. me.. and you.. ^^ i print this body size pic .. it is edit by adobe photoshop.. and resize this pic to real size.. check point is that. 24 fret width is 56mm and resize image.. and check print size and divide 4. my Print is enable A4 size papper, and laminated papaer.. ^^ and pickup hole position & tail position is result of scale length.. i dont like this type guitar.. but it is for my friend.. so i make it... good night..

this is fill with epoxy on crack body.. body is 2PC maple my project guitar , include thruneck ? T_T thruneck guitar body & neck is all sugar maple.. when use router.. smell is very sweet ^^ and finger board is honduras rosewood.. very dense.. this is my higsaw tools ^^ i use this tools when body cut by jigsaw.. press my foot and cut body.. have nice day..

my 4th guitar is complete done.. finish is bad.. but sound is really good.. i naver change is gitar for fender.. gibson. ibanez, PRS Dragon ^^ rich base & middle.. and clean high tone.. my best guitar sound.. T_T this week finish my red guitar.. and my 6th guitar & 7th guitar is continue.. my 7th guitar is that.. this top is 3pc maple top.. diffrent color.. neck pocket is will work when neck work is done.. i will try glue joint for neck.. have nice day..

hi.. birdseye maple is difiicult to make neck.. i make 2 birdseye maple . and in use spokenshave.. remain 2~3mm or more.. i experience birdseye maple 's birdseye falls out.. ^^ hole's depth 2mm .. T_T so i use spokenshave for rough, and use sandpaper #80 #150 #220 #320 use sandpaper is safety.. in make neck.. curly or birdseye is difficult than normal wood. but rough spokenshave, and use sandpaper is good remain spokenshave at least 3mm or more and use sandpaper..

i think if same wood.. but not same sounds. wood choice is important . if enable you knock this wood all.. good sound wood is good for guitar. forget wood kind. and wood choice's new issue is that "is it easy for wood woking?" dense or curly wood is not easy. good luck..

all fretting work is end and i finished... finish is failed.. T_T and when i make neck.. i no need leveling work.. ^^ only use fret hammer.. today my 4th guitar is all done.. i'm not satisfy for my 4th 5th guitar.. because of finishe.. T_T i will practice finish.. every day.. i want to make my dream masterbuilder.. i will try.. i will go my woking room.. when eat dinner.. thank..
