( Iroko ). i choose Iroko.. this wood's blank for 2Peace body blank price is allmost 45$(USD). i like this wood.. in my local area . wood price is some expenssive.. i think.. i'm not normal man.. i'm so crazy for guitar making.. T_T but i'am happy .. when i connect in this site.. i'm normal man ^^ thank for all crazy guitar making members ..... sorry for my pic... when i work.. my hand is allway dusty.. so i dont pic.. when i am working.. when i am work.. and my wife is in working room.. i will pic.. my working pic.. yesterday . i get this maple neck blank.. it look like good.. but i give up this maple.. this maple is good condistion's birthyes maple.. i will give it some one. he make guitar for his son.. so i will give to him.. he will be make new project guitar PRS Copy.. so i supply to neck blank to him. beautifull is not allway give good sound. i am throw my desire for beautifull wood.. next day i will buy tauri ( Brazilian Oak ).. for neck.. if i want to get this quality's birtheyes.. i allway get same quality's birtheyes maple.. but my choice is good for sound.. many people dont understand it.. some time i'am angry some people.. maple and mahogany is general good material for electric guitar.. this kind of man say to me.. maple & mahogany neck is good but another material is not good.. and it is cheap material and only replace wood for general tone wood.. my basic wood selection rule is simple .. knock wood. and check wood's stableish.. have nice day..

hi.. this guitar is my first sitka spuruce top guitar.. sound is mild & tender.. not good very heavy sound.. but good for tender.. first spuruce guitar pickup is kentarmstrong pickup. brass saddle(?) brige, aluminum tail pieace.. tasqnut.. gotho headmachine.. Dadario 010 setting.. my favorite sound is really heavy & heavy sound.. but it some time good for clean.. perhaps this guitar is assemblyed Wednesday, i will tell this guitar's sound.. maple top & spuruce top sound is very diffrent.. maple is high tone is a live.. but spuruce is tender.. ^^

hi.. every body.. happy new years.. my happy new guitar.. ^^ sorry for my pic.. my work's result pic.. this year i will make guitar making movie.. this guitar is sitka spuruce. + walnut back. rosewood neck + rosewood fingerboard. 25.5" Scales i will use duncan JB, Duncan 59 Neck pickup, 1Volum + 1Tone + 3Way switch, 1 mini toggle switch.. today.. when my office job is end. i will last seding #180, #220, #320, and fret side cleanning work. fret check. my fretting tool is hammer, when fretting is end.. i leveling by files. yet my fretting is need some leveling work.. i dont use radius block leveling.. some time leveling by files. 2~3 or 4~6 frets. some no need leveling.. i think.. neck back shape is more easy than fretting.. and my pesonal favorit body shape is LP ^^ dont like setin neck or thruneck.. i like bolt on style's sound.. and dont like archtop.. it is pesonal characters, simple is beautifull ^^ like programming.. hehe.. happy new years.. more pic

nice work.. ^^ your fretting's status is good? fretting is not easy.. check & check fretting.. and leveling work is not good.. it is last method.. use hammer and last use files.. and radius block use and sending fret is not good.. sorry.. my language is too bad.. good work.. good luck...

thank.. i will modify this headstock to Ibanez regular headstock.. it is too strange.. ^^.. headstock hole fill with epoxy.. and laminate wood.. and laminate veneer on headstock top.. i will do this work in this weekend.. ^^ today.. my familly is all get together .. all marryed.. and have child.. Merry Christmas.. ^^

good... your brige setup method is good.. ^^ how do you work .. pickup selecter line cut.. it really clean work.. i'm free drill .. and use jigsaw.. so.. it is not clean.. T_T but your working really good..

T_T headstock is really important .. this body is hard ash, walnut top, brazilian Oak.. rosewood fingerboard.. need 2~3 time's oil finish.. i satisfy this body's tone.. and neck's tone.. but only not good is headstock.. when i make neck.. first time i will do ibanez headstock.. but.. i dont want to copyer. so i apply head.. my favorit headstock.. ^^ !!METAL MATT!! is good design and have his own style.. ^^ i envy.. my daily guitar making time is allmost 6 hours.. when my office job is end.. i make multiple.. when new guitar is making another step is process.. ^^ have nice day..

hi.. my pickup position is front pickup position is allway location natural hamonics location.. but brige pickup location is not fixed.. i choose brige pickup location append to wood's dense.. and my wish sound's choice.. if i want to hard sound ... near to brige.. and want rich sound.. is not near to brige.. i know.. pickup location is allway natural harmonic location... brige location is allway append to scale length.. but tailpeaice 's location is append to sound's choice.. yet not find my rule.. rosewood neck is made by 3 fingerboard material.. i dont get rosewood for neck.. so.. i laminated 3 peices fingerboard.. fingerboard's wood is Dalbergia lafoteria ( it is same indian rosewood.. but grow area is diff, my rosewood is indonesya's Dalbergia lafoteria.. snokelling.. ^^) it is not expenssive.. it is more cheap than hard maple.. first i use router.. make small temprate.. and free cut.. and all made by small hand tool..

my guitar's sound is some hard.. so i want to make mellow guitar.. so i use spuruce top.. in my local area .. my easy tone wood is walnut.. & framed maple.. but hard maple is not easy to get.. and my favorit tone wood is walnut.. my guitar is not to ready sales quality.. and i want to make it to my hobby.. make guitar for money.. is i dont want.. i want to enjoy making guitar.. not for money.. making guitar is my enjoy.. ^^
